for more information.

A. The bulb may be burnt out and need replacement. Please refer to your manual

3) The BeaconBuoy will not charge when below freezing.

brightness when below freezing.
A. The fluorescent bulb needs to warm up before it will burn at full brightness
and if it is too cold it may never reach full brightness.
5) The BeaconBuoy no longer burns for as long as it used to.
A. The batteries are most likely reaching the end of their useful life and may
need replacement. Please refer to your manual for more information.
6) The BeaconBuoy and the charger get warm when charging.
A. This is normal and the BeaconBuoy has a temperature sensor built in that will
automatically shut it down if it reaches a temperature higher than 113 degrees
Fahrenheit or 45 degree Centigrade. If your BeaconBuoy shuts down due to
overheating, please refer to your manual as you may need to replace your
batteries.

A. The bulb is most likely reaching the end of its useful life and may need
replacement. Please refer to your manual for more information.
8) Condensation has appeared on the inside of your BeaconBuoy.
A. Your BeaconBuoy has developed a leak. Locate the white Gore Patch under the
Top Knob Switch and check it for holes or tears and check as well the seal
around the join between the top housing and the clear lens housing for obvious
damage. It may just be a sudden change in barometric pressure, if the amount of
condensation is minimal, if not, please refer to your manual for more
information.
