"I can't tell you how much fun my children have with the GlowBuoy. I
know it is not designed as a toy but it is one of their favorite pool
toys anyway. My daughter Jenny is five and really just getting her
swimming legs, so, her favorite thing to do is use the GlowBuoy as a
paddle board, most especially at night. Her brother Adam is two years
older and must think he is Jacques Cousteau because he and the GlowBuoy
seem to live on the bottom of the pool when he is playing with it. He
and his father have this game where they try to get it to float upside
down and when they get bored of that they see if they can get it to
float upside down from the bottom of the pool, but, the darn thing keeps
righting itself before it reaches the top. Their Dad has posted a $5.00
reward for the first person to succeed in getting it to stay upside down
in the water no matter how the attempt might start. I think we have
invented the GlowBuoy Olympics they seem to have invented so many
different games with it. I have to tell you your light is fantastic. It
lights our pool much better than our regular lights and the kids just
love it."

"I purchased the optional table stand and hanger for my GlowBuoy this
past summer, we bought our GlowBuoy the year before and when I saw the
accessories in our local pool store this last August I had to have them.
We had a power failure last winter that lasted for 12 hours and my
husband got our GlowBuoy out of the basement and it literally saved our
bacon. I had to cook Bacon and Eggs on the Coleman Stove because the
power had only just gone off before dinner. We did not have the table
stand then, and so, Bob just laid the GlowBuoy on its back to light the
kitchen and nook while I cooked something quick and simple with our
camping gear.
Even though we have a pool, we still love camping and go at least 4
or 5 times every summer. That power outage showed us just how useful the
GlowBuoy could be so we started to take it camping with us every time.
It's funny because I was going to write you a letter telling you all of
the different ways we use it and it seems that no sooner had I decided
to do that, then I saw the accessories in our pool store. You read my
mind, thanks for making the GlowBuoy and thanks for making it easier
to
use out of the water."

I am writing this letter because I owe an apology to my wife, whom I
accused, falsely, I have been told to add, of wasting family money and
being a spendthrift. We have, or I should say had, what I thought were
perfectly good pool lights, they aught to have been, I paid around
$1,500 for them if my memory is serving me correctly.
Three days ago Brenda came home with one of your lights, the
GlowBuoy, bragging about how it was the best pool light in the world and
we had to have one. I lost my temper and scolded her about spending
money and how she falls for every line that every salesman gives her. I
told her that it was obvious to anyone that thing could not possibly
light a pool, let alone our pool which is a 20 by 40 foot irregular
shape. I also pointed out that we had only just last year spend close to
$100,000 dollars on our new pool, no small part of which was our own
perfectly good in wall lighting system; I was upset to say the least.
Well I am eating crow now, and this letter has been made part of my
penance. I must admit, if I didn't worship the ground she walks on; she
really isn't a spend thrift, I had a rough day at work and I brought it
home, and if your light didn't blow me away, I would not be writing this
letter. I spent over $3,000 on a 'state of the art' fiber optic lighting
system and the GlowBuoy out performs them. Not just a little, I mean
completely out performs them, no more dark areas, anywhere and I love
the way it floats around the pool, its cool. I'm sorry I wasted the
money on the regular lights, but, I always have them as backup I guess.
Now who is the spendthrift? I should have done my homework when I was
buying the pool instead of listening to that sales guy.
My love has accepted my apology, I am sure you will too."

I am writing to tell you how impressed I am with the ruggedness of the
GlowBuoy. I was cleaning the pool yesterday and I had left the GlowBuoy
in from the night before. Our back porch is about three feet higher than
the pool deck and I keep the charger and storage cradle there under the
eve of the house so it is out of the rain when on the charger. Rita, my
wife, was on the porch so I handed the GlowBuoy to her so she could put
it back on its charger. Well either I passed it poorly or she did not
have a firm enough grip on it, because it fell about 5 feet onto the
interlock that we have around the pool and there was this terrible bang
followed by several more as the GlowBuoy bounced down the decking and
eventually into the shallow end. I could have sworn that it was going to
go straight to the bottom; it had to have broken, it was a terrible
fall. To my amazement, it bobbed happily in the shallow end and did not
sink to the bottom. I retrieved it right away, looked it over, and
rushed to the charger to see if it would still take a charge because
there was not even a scratch on it. It worked! I could not believe it; I
was sure it was a goner. The GlowBuoy is an amazing light; we love it."

Users I was given a BeaconBuoy for
Father's day last year by my kids and I use it to light the water around
our cottage dock at night; it's just great. The kids don't worry about
the boogie man getting them anymore when we swim to cool off before bed on
hot nights and I don't have trouble finding the dock when coming in from
fishing after sunset. I just hit the remote control and the lights come
on before I even get close to the dock. The BeaconBuoy is the best thing
to hit our cottage in a long time."

"Our BeaconBuoy came in handy on more than one occasion
this past summer. It seemed to be the summer of power failures at the
cabin and the BeaconBuoy was always there to save us. We treat power
failures as family adventures. My husband Bob gets the kids going on
Monopoly and cards and then gets out the camping gear. The kids just love
it because we get to have all of the fun of camping without leaving the
cabin. I hang the BeaconBuoy from the beam between the cook area and the
kitchen table and the BeaconBuoy provides all the light we need. I can see
to cook and the kids can see to play their games. I especially like that
there are no shadows making it hard to see because the light shines
exactly where you need it."

"The BeaconBuoy is the best light I have ever used for
shrimping. The shrimp just school around it and because it is ambient
light the whole school actually lights up. It works so much better than
the lanterns and other corded floating lights on the market."

"If you want Crappie, you had better get a BeaconBuoy.
I can't believe how well it works. It's so much easier to use than my old
rig with wires and parts and pieces everywhere. It used to take me at
least 10 minutes to get my old set up going and then I had to be careful
that I did not hook the wires or trip on them in the boat. Now I just hook
the BeaconBuoy to the boat cleat, toss it in and watch the bait fish swarm
around the light. I love it, and so do the Crappie."

"The BeaconBuoy is the best light I have aboard my 36'
Sea Ray Express Cruiser. My wife and I keep our boat on
Lake Champlain and the BeaconBuoy has
added a new dimension to boating for us. Now all our friends have them
because they are so great for rafting parties and late night swims.
Marjory used to be nervous about swimming off the boat at night and I
could hardly ever get her to join me. Now she feels much safer and will
come with me most of the time. Any plans to add a heater to the light? It
does just about everything else and we use it more out of the water than
in, quite frankly."

"We take the BeaconBuoy camping with us every weekend
and I have to tell you that it is the best camping lantern we have ever
had. One BeaconBuoy does the job of three of our old lanterns and there
are no more batteries to keep track of or costly propane cylinders to
purchase. Our old lanterns used to cast big shadows because they only
shone light out the sides. The BeaconBuoy throws the light everywhere and
it is so much brighter that we only need one. The kids love it too
because they can take it to the beach with them at night for a quick swim
before bed. I like it because now I can see them when they do. Why didn't
someone invent this sooner?"

"The BeaconBuoy has become a permanent fixture in our
RV. We like to explore the back country and this means that we are often
without a hook-up when we bed down at night. The BeaconBuoy provides all
of the light we need inside and out. We can conserve our onboard batteries
and we don't have to run the engine. The best part is I haven't changed a
single bulb in my RV's outside lights since I purchased the BeaconBuoy. It
is so much better than our old camping lanterns and we love the fact that
we can take it swimming with us when we go for those late night dips."

"After going through two hurricanes in
Florida the importance of
emergency lighting took on a whole new meaning. The BeaconBuoy is
absolutely the best emergency light available. It gives you six hours of
continuous use and is completely cordless and rechargeable."
