1.5" plumbing means you have 1.5" schedule 40 PVC supply lines (1 7/8" OD on the line)
2" plumbing means you have 2" schedule 40 PVC supply lines (2 3/8" OD on the line).
Note: Some lines are hard PVC and some are flexible lines, but have the same size O.D.)
Do not determine the size by the inside or outside dimensions of the spa pump head inlets/outlets. You must measure the supply lines.
