LEESON WASHGUARD® motors are specifically designed to last longer and perform
better than any conventional motor in wet environments. These include washdown
applications such as food processing plants and dairies, also other areas
with high humidity.
All
WASHGUARD® AC motors have 1.15 SF or greater, Class F insulation, and torque
exceeding NEMA performance standard. |

LEESON WASHGUARD® Motors :
These motors are extremely versatile and can be field converted in minutes to
a number of different configurations :
l
Shaft seals on both ends, and gaskets
at other openings, retard water entrance during high-pressure cleanings.
l
Four drains in each endshield ensure
rapid moisture evacuation regardless of mounting orientation.
l
And tough interior and exterior coatings,
plus stainless steel parts at key locations, have earned this moisture-shedding
motor its nickname - "The Duck".
