sure there not cracked, replace if

|
|
 |
| Step 7: Remove diffuser, which will reveal the impeller. |
|
|
 |
This is what some impellers look like, they have a nut that holds
the
impeller together.
Do Not Remove This Nut!! |
|
|
 |
| If you remove the nut this is what it will look. You will see the
impeller stem and the threads for the
nut and the shaft seal. |
|
|
 |
| Step 8: |
Using a 7/16" wrench, insert it behind
the spring switch,
this will hold the
shaft so you can unscrew the impeller. |
|
|
 |
This is a closer look at the wrench behind the spring switch.
You do not want to use a flat headed screw driver to hold the
screw inside the spring switch. |
|
|
 |
| Step 9: |
Unscrew the impeller, counter clock wise.
This
should be done by hand, other you may damage the
impeller with a wrench.
Remember you are holding the shaft

This is what it will look like when the impeller is removed
from
the
shaft of the motor.
Step 10: Remove the seal plate. |
|

 |
| Step 11: |
Once the seal plate is removed it will reveal the 4
bolts
that hold the motor mounting plate to the motor, remove
this and install it back

the new motor. |
| Step 12: |
It is recommended to replace the
shaft seal. |
| Step 13: |
Reinstall all parts onto the new motor. |
|
| Final Step: |
Before applying power to the motor be
sure to verify
the voltage on your supply lines for the motor. After
you have determine whether you have 115 or 220 volts,
set the motor voltage switch to the proper position. If
the motor does not have a switch, follow the wiring
instructions on the motor name plate. If you do not
understand the wiring diagram it is suggested that you
contact a qualified electrician to assist in the correct
wiring configuration. |
