Determine how long you
should run your system. The length of time that you run your pool's
filtration system each day depends on your equipment, the environment, and
the time of year. To determine how long you should run your system during
the summer, start by running it for 10 hours each day. Observe it for
three days. If the pool is clean and clear, reduce the run time by one
hour and once again observe it for three days. Once you've reduced the run
time and the pool is no longer clean and clear, increase the run time by
one hour, and repeat the process until it is once again clear. |
