Freight & Shipping Policy:
All electric motors underr 70 lbs. will be shipped via UPS Worldwide Express. Packages are only delivered Monday thru Friday. If you desire Saturday delivery you will need to call us so we can specify your order for Saturday delivery.
Orders can not be shipped on Saturday, Sunday or holidays.
Motors over 70 lbs. will be shipped via commercial truck lines unless otherwise directed. Cost is normally $90 to $130 shipped to a business or farm. AO Smith will only ship motors over 50 lbs. by common carrier due to excessive damage by package delivery companies.
Freight Damage: You are responsible for inspecting all packages for damage. Once you sign the trucking company's bill of lading and the driver pulls away and you discover hidden damage, you will have to file the damage claim with the trucking company.
You are responsible for the damage once you have signed the bill of lading and accepted delivery. If you receive a damaged item, refuse delivery.
International Customers: We use UPS. We have negotiated reduced Worldwide Express shipping rates for overseas shipments, simply
send an email and we will be happy to quote a shipping rate. Include the product(s) you wish to purchase with your complete shipping address.
You are responsible for any tariffs, duties or taxes at the time of import. These are fees normally charged by your government on imported items.
We recommend checking with your government customs office regarding these fees. Some countries will refund the fees with the proper paper work.
Most orders should be shipped out within hours upon receipt of your credit approved order.
